
Ingo Jezierski has been living and working in South East Asia since 1983. He traveled the region extensively, always on the lookout for fascinating images of people and places. He lives since 2001 in Pattaya, Thailand.
He is a graduated Engineer for Applied Physics and got a Diploma in Social Science in Berlin, Germany.
A psychology friend characterized him once according to the Chinese Tao Teh Ching as a ‘wanderer’ and that is how he feels about himself. First trips to southern Europe and Hawaii were an expression of his ‘wanderlust’ for faraway places.
In 1983 Ingo's friend Dieter Lotze, a German photographer and audio-visual producer asked to join him working in an audio-visual company in Jakarta, Indonesia. Soon after that he moved to Singapore to work for Hans Hoefer, creator and publisher of the internationally acclaimed travel guide books Apa Insight Guides.
In 1991 Ingo started his own company I&R Productions in Singapore, doing corporate and industrial assignments and editorial projects. He worked also for years for the Singapore Tourism Board.
From 1986 till 1991 Ingo was a contributor to THE IMAGE BANK. Since 1997 he emphasized more on stock photography when he joined Getty and Corbis. See all of Ingo Jezierski stock photo agencies.
Ingo turned in 2005 totally to digital capture using the Nikon D2x [12.4MP] and D70 [6MP].
Ingo was an admirer of the early works of American photographer Pete Turner whose style is characterized by simplicity, clarity and strong vivid colors.
Since June 2007 Ingo operates his business from Bangkok, Thailand.
